The temperature fluctuates, but what remains unchanged is our excellent students and outstanding mandarin academic performance.
This year is speical but luckly, we still achieved a lot.
Guess how many students win a prize at 2020 Caligraphy Competition?
There are more than two thousand contestants from all over the country with 3500 arts. Organizers are only selected the best 500 of them.
Hard to believe that we dominated 1/5 of them, 108 students stand out from those candidates. Lǐ lǎoshī, shēn lǎoshī, and Jiāng lǎoshī are soooooooo proud of their students.
At the same time, two of our students Olivia and Ciara participated in the Chinese Bridge competition. Both of them achieved good results.
During the study period, it actually was lockdown time. So Lǐ lǎoshī used zoom to practice Chinese speech every day.
And we found that their talent on language learning, and Ciara also engaged with the Chinese traditional culture——paper cut.
We feel happy to see them made progress every day.
And 100%, our best students defeated others and won third prize.
Cultural parts are always the most popular part in the Mandarin class. This year, we organized a variety of cultural activities.
Especially when introducing Chinese food culture, many students said they like Chinese dumplings, baozi and noodles, and all the students are also very interested in chopsticks. We compared the food culture differences between New Zealand and China, and held a 20-second chopsticks competition. Every student wanted to challenge using chopsticks to hold spring rolls.
That's a Chinese shuttlecocks activity which help students practice both of their body and number counting.
The students love Chinese shuttlecock .You can heard students shouting loudly in Mandarin“1.2.3.4…”
Their best performance and interesting in mandarin learning left a deep impression on us, we even convinced that the YCT-level examination is nothing difficult for them.
