Suzie Bates popped in for an interview with Room 20's cricket players.

This term we have been studying autobiographies and biographies. Our final studies have been on successful past students of Tahuana.

Suzie Bates came to talk to our cricket players and also spoke to the class in her role as an Olympic Ambassador. Suzie talked about success, friendship and resilience. She taught us the importance of communication when you are involved in many sports or activities. Suzie donated a shirt to the school which is now in our trophy cupboard.

Other notable past students who have been interviewed via the internet are Richard Till, Jim Mora and Simon Latimer. It was great to get responses back from these past students and see how they set goals and achieve them. It was also interesting to see some of our past students who followed a passion as they got older.
