Tents By Evan & Nate

On the first day of camp after arriving from a reasonably long car ride we ate our morning tea and then later erected our tents. I had no knowledge of erecting a tent, but I must say it wasn’t too hard.

There were some challenges along the way including pegs hitting rocks, a wasp nest above the tent and moving the tent around.

At last the tent was complete and ready to sleep in, and it was cold and extremely uncomfortable. Especially on the first night where I (Nate) wore no shirt. But after adjusting, the following nights were definitely more favourable conditions.

The last night in the cabin was definitely the best sleep, as we were much warmer, and resting on a much better mattress. So I suppose one thing I would change about camp would be to sleep in the cabins every night.

This was our short story of our experiences erecting and sleeping in a tent. Goodbye!
