Great end to the hockey season

The Tahuna "A" squad completed a second consecutive unbeaten season when they beat John McGlashan "A" in the final of the Year 7/8 intermediate hockey competition.

Well done to all of our Tahuna hockey players for another great season.  It's been great to see the commitment and development of our players and just to see them out at the turf enjoying their hockey.

Thanks very much to our teachers for their time and commitment coaching and managing their teams throughout the season (thanks Mrs. Stuart, Miss Leonard and Mr. Waters!).

Many thanks also to Louise Nicolson, Tavish Voight and Warren Leonard for all their support and expertise with coaching both at practices before school and at  the games.

The Tahuna "A" squad had a strong season and made it to the final with an unbeaten record. They came up against an improving John McGlashan team in really testing conditions.

After a great start they were 3-0 up by half-time. In the second half they kept the pressure on and came out as 7-0 winners. The trophy is now safely back at Tahuna for the fifth time in the last six years. Every single player had an excellent game and played a vital role in this special performance.
