Te Taiopeka Whanau Hui

By Karyn Hearn | Posted: Saturday March 12, 2016

Great discussions and looking forward to some really exciting things for our school.

It was great to see some new faces at our Hui held last month. We are always keen to see new whanau show up as it gives Te Taiopeka new ideas and discussions that benefit our school.

Some of the outcomes from Te Taiopeka in the past have been the new house groups which have changed from being House Colours to Maori Atua. They are: Tane Mahuta, Tumataueka, Takaroa and Mahuika.

Our Korowai which hangs in the foyer as well as the Albatross which is printed on our kapahaka uniforms are also some great outcomes we have had from our Te Taiopeka Whanau Hui.

If you are wanting to be involved, please come along to our hui next term. Time and date to be confirmed.
