Taking on the Taieri!
What a day! A big group of Tahuna students and parents took on the Taieri River last week.
Fifty students and parents met at Outram Glen for the day long adventure. We walked upriver and met the jetboat for our ride which took us further up the Taieri. A yummy BBQ lunch, then a debrief and we were ready to go. Lots of teamwork required in the rafts to get downstream and the fun followed. Jumping in and out of rafts, splashing the opposition rafts and a few games followed.
A big thank you to Steve and his team at Wild Earth Adventures and also the 15 parents that made sure the day went ahead.
