Action Galore So Far!

A picture says a thousand words so here are heaps of photos and a few highlights from some of the students.

The highlight of my trip so far would have to be when the brown kiwi walked up to us in the middle of the day and just strolled around like he was walking down to the pub on a Saturday night. It was AMAZING!!!! I will defiantly remember this for the rest of the week.

At the end of the day after the tramp a group of us went down to the wharf and stared fishing. Louie straight away got a huge fish, he cooked it on the BBQ and ate it soon after. I had no luck with catching fish, lots swimming around my line but no fish for me.

My highlight so far would have to be Louie catching a fish and actually eating the whole thing no one expected that! Then we played some rugby in the backyard and we got all the boys to play even the ones that don't like rugby it was great.

On the crossing across Foveaux strait, which is the 3rd roughest  crossing in the world, it took us about 1 hour to get from Bluff to Stewart Island wharf but the crossing was a smooth ride for most people.

We are very lucky to have Harry accompany us on this trip. He is our Chinese friend. We have been learning about his culture and trying his yummy dumplings. I liked the fried ones the best.
