Year 8 Term 4

What's happening in Term 4

Firstly our congratulations to Ted Menzies for receiving the Sir Peter Blake leadership award.  What an awesome achievement for Ted!

Another very busy term ahead of us which is focused around our school value of Success. 

This Term we have the following items:

• Sexuality Unit 
• South Zones Athletics day Wednesday 6th November
• High School orientation day Friday 15th November
• Otago Athletic Championship Tuesday 19th November
• Marae visits 26th and 27th November
• Sports prize giving Tuesday 3rd of December
• Year 8 Outing - Monday 9th December
• Tahuna Show 10th December
• Year 8 Social Wednesday 11th December
• Year 8 prize giving Wednesday the 11th December - this year we are having to spilt our prize giving as we are unable to use the Edgar centre due to maintenance. Year 7 prize giving will be held on Tuesday 10th December.
• Last day of school - (*12pm finish*) Thursday 12th December

As you can see the final weeks of the year are going to be extremely busy and fly by.  High expectations of behaviour are expected and will secure a students spot in participating in all of the activities planned.
