Rock Climbing-

The tanks were full, the tires were pumped and the vans were loaded. Room Eleven were ready for their journey up the rough rocks and into the misty caves.

We were setting off on the long, windy drive to the ever so famous, Long Beach.  As the vans pulled to a halt,  kids swung open the car doors, to leap out at the adventure at their finger tips.  The day all started with a small walk onto the sand, and then we had a class talk and we were off.

Whilst half of the class was facing their fears climbing up to the top of the rocks, the other half was setting off into the pitch black caves. No one knew what to expect when we were entering the caves, but to everyones surprise we found some little blue penguins and their eggs.

It was my groups turn to climb the tough terrain of the cliff. It was very vital to listen to the instructors safety advise           because our peers life was in the palm of our hands. We strapped ourselves in and started making our way up the cliff. Some people were scared, some were anxious, but most people were full of fear. Everyone was encouraging each other, pushing their peers to go further.

Everyone really enjoyed their day at Long Beach, we all experienced new things and lots of us pushed our comfort zone to the limit.
