Tahuna teams dominant and 2nd overall at Otago Lit Quiz

Tahuna 2nd in Otago Lit Quiz this year and every team top in a section!

On Monday 9th March 3 Tahuna teams of four kids each headed to DNI for the Otago Lit Quiz heat. There on the day were over 30 other year 7- 8 teams, all competing to be the best Lit Quiz team in Otago and head to the National Final.

They answered 100 questions total - 10 sections with 10 questions per section.

Tahuna 1 placed 2nd place overall, 4 points behind 1st place which was an amazing result! 

Even better, every single Tahuna student came away with a prize as every team won their section at least once or answered a bonus question correctly. 

Well done to all participants on an awesome effort. I am looking forward to seeing some of you back next year!

A big thank you to the school council for subsidising our team entry fee and the 4 parents who helped get us there and back safely.
