Science with Dr Dave!

Room 9 had their second science session this week, where we looked at density.

On Tuesday we had science with doctor Dave. Our task was to layer liquids on top of each other with the densest at the bottom and lightest at the top. We proceeded with the experiment, layering each liquid on top of each other. In the end, Room 9 broke the previous record of 12 layers with a new high record of 14!!! The way that they got so many layers was because they were mixing together the substances, like methanol, water, oil, and copper sulphate.
