Tahuna Success at Rugby Tournament
Another great year at the Otago Sassenachs rugby tournament for Tahuna this year with all our teams placing well.
The Tahuna year 8's had a pretty awesome run to the finals where they faced a tough Balmacewen Intermediate team. They were tough but the boys managed to score a few tries and and defend successfully. The year 7's also had a similar run but just managed to get there after having a very hard semi-final against Outram. In the final they played the other Balmac team and out scored them 7 tries to 3. The girls team also played Balmac in the final and unfortunately went down by a 2 points.
A great day all round from the school, supported and teachers who enjoyed a beautiful day on the field.
