Frooze Ball Fundraiser 2018
Next week we will start our annual fundraiser. Due to feedback from parents last year we have decided not to continue selling Cadburys chocolates mainly due to the nature of the product and also the loss of jobs and production leaving Dunedin.
We have settled on a healthy alternative, Frooze Balls. They come in a carry box like the chocolates and we will run the fundraiser as we have done for a long time now. Within the box itself there are different flavour options which are all healthy snack options suitable for kids lunches. The packets are $2.50 each, there are 20 packets in a box which equates to $50 returned to school if the entire box is sold.
As with the chocolates, all students that sell a box will go into the draw for some amazing prizes. In the past there have been GoPro cameras, cell phones, drones, bikes, all drawn out as spot prizes and prizes for our top sellers. We will limit the selling period to three weeks, starting on Monday 26th February and finishing on the 16th March.
This year we are really keen to improve playground facilities at Tahuna. This fundraiser along with other fundraising streams will go along way to providing not only a fun and challenging playground addition for our students, but also for our community.
