Jennie Scott

Jennie Scott - Food & Textiles Technology

Jennie is in her third year teaching Food & Textiles Technology at Tahuna.  She completed a Consumer Food Science degree at Otago, then spent two years working for Mainland Cheese in Taranaki. After completing her graduate diploma in secondary teaching, she spent 5 years teaching at Berkley Middle School in Hamilton.  Jennie is passionate about the area of technology and enjoys seeing students develop new skills whilst following the design process with successful outcomes.  She also assists students in entering external technology competitions such as the Maggi Kitchen Showdown and Brother Design Stars.  Jennie has a passion for netball and is the teacher co-ordinating netball at Tahuna in 2016.
