Music
Music at Tahuna Normal Intermediate School is taught as a curriculum subject throughout the year and aims to provide a wide range of practical music experiences. As students develop an understanding of literacies in music and theoretical skills, they listen and respond, sing and play, then create and improvise. Tahuna Intermediate students contribute to the cultural life of the school community by learning to perform and share the outcomes of their learning. This subject intends to lay the foundation for lifelong enjoyment and participation in music.
