It is now policy in schools for parents who are working with children at school or on camp to be police vetted. Here at Tahuna all parents who assist on an overnight camp or who work alone with our children will be police vetted in line with the ministry’s recommendations.

Room 12 (Miss Leonard) a year 8 class and most of us are sporty! We love the game 'Stop' (a game a bit like cricket but it takes too long to explain), and even last year when we were in Room 8 with Mr. J we were the year 7 winners.

The Tahuna Hall was full for the welcoming assembly on the first day of school. Te Taiopeka welcomed the new students and teachers into the hall before Mr Hunter gave his opening address. Staff were also introduced to the students and a warm welcome was given to our International Students.
