"Clued Up Camper" First Aid Course

In the first week of school all Year 8 students attended a pre Camp first aid course with Kirsty Sutherland from St Johns.

Kirsty covered many common injuries that can arise at camp, preventions and treatments by staff should any incidents arise.  Groups worked through options from a tramping senario and again this was a valuable learning experience for the students.  Being properly prepared, recognising dangers and responding safely were aspects that were addressed.  We were most grateful to St Johns for their assistance here.
