Room 9 complete 'Get NZ Writing'

This year Room 9 participated in a writing initiative called 'Get NZ Writing'. What a great experience!

Room 9 entered the Get NZ Writing initiative, not knowing what to expect. We were sent 32 postcards, a blank information poster and all of the resources needed to complete the project. 

The blank information poster asked lots of questions about our class and we all had a postcard to complete. On one side of the postcard we wrote a metaphor and on the other side we coloured the letters. Once these postcards are put together, it creates an inspirational saying.

Last week, our buddy classes information arrived. It has been great getting to know the students from Cambridge Middle School through their metaphors and poster. It was a really fun task to complete!
