Tahuna Netball Wrap Up 2020

This has to be have been one of the more unusual netball seasons...a very quiet Edgar Centre with no spectators!

We had 14 teams and close to 140 players this season. A big thank you to the fantastic 7 teachers that coach, to our student coaches Kimberley (Queens), Charlotte (Bayfield), Emma (OGHS), Talei, and to the fantastic Mums Penny, Helen, and Leigh.

Providing umpires every week can be a huge challenge, sincere thanks to Mrs Reddington, Nikki, Emily Sutton, Emily Gray and Sophie Weir.

Our 7A, 7B, 7 Green, 8A and 8B teams all made finals.A huge congratulations to *the 7A team and Miss Bates (who were undefeated all season) and won the final 14-6 against St Hildas.*the 8A team and Miss Brocklebank who won the final 21-14 against Taieri.

Finally thank you to the students for demonstrating our school values and families for assisting them in attending trainings and games.
