Mandarin...made fun.

"Go Fish!"

Students are having a great time practising their language skills in Mandarin by playing the card game Go Fish.

Every week we have a 40 minute lesson with our Mandarin Language Assistant, who provides easy to use flashcards, games and youtube videos which encourage and support the development of the Mandarin language.

Room 3 are now into their second year of learning Mandarin at Tahuna and certainly enjoy playing the fun games. It is wonderful to see the students getting so involved and not shying away from this challenging and popular language. There is a great culture and respect of one another and as such "mistakes in pronunciation" are not a big deal which takes away the pressure.

We are certainly very fortunate to have such wonderful language assistants working with us.
