Samoan Language Week

Talofa lava and fa'afetai to all the students and staff who embraced the Samoan culture & language during Samoan Language Week earlier in the month.

Walking through the classes students and staff were seen embracing the Samoan Culture and learning alongside one another.  

On Thursday it was very special to see the children sharing lunch with their teachers and enjoying some traditional island food.  Thanks to Eb for making the Sapasui, Mrs Scott for the Pani Popo and Mr Tait for the Oka.  

Later in the year, we plan to have a Tahuna Cultural Day so that all students can celebrate their culture and wear their traditional clothing to school.
