Tahuna rocks!

With two rockbands performing at BandQuest, a djembe and a marimba band, ukulele mornings, the orchestra and ongoing lessons in drums, cello, sax and more, Tahuna never stops jammin'.

The amount of talent on display at Tahuna Open Night was heart warming with music students providing a full evening of entertainment. Last term saw the Evening of the Arts, this term we have two bands getting ready to compete at BandQuest, good luck to Moxie and Screen Pollution! 

Classroom music meanwhile has explored sound science and pitched percussion, rhythms and Taongo Pūoro; up next are ukuleles, ready to join in with the Ukulele Jam at the Beach next term.
