Term 4

Halfway through term four and so much more still to come.

This term has started off with many EOTC opportunities for the Year 7's. We have had the last of our five classes head out to camp Berwick, where they enjoyed many activities including the confidence course, cooking their own food and sleeping in tents.

The Year 7's have all been through the DCC Cycling Programme. It was really pleasing to see the number of children demonstrating road sense and safety.

End of Year testing is well underway and it is great to see the progress from the start of the year. Some excellent work in reading, maths and writing.

Our annual Decca Day along with Athletics Day and South Zone have all been held with many Year 7's making it through to the Otago championship. We wish them well and look forward to celebrating their success.

We are currently preparing for our annual Marae Week which will be held in week 8. Students will be performing the school haka, having a hangi, doing tukutuku panels and much more. If you have any flax or wool at home and you are prepared to donate this please let classroom teachers know.

Our final activity for the year is the fun swim at Moana pool, the real highlights are the waterslide and diving board.
