EPro 8 - Tahuna won 4 places in the Regional Final 2020
Epro8 is all about challenges that incorporate engineering, science, electronics, mathematics and problem solving.
Last years Epro8 competition took place on the 5th/6th of August from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Four of our six teams won places in the Final which was held on Monday the 24th of August at Dunedin North Intermediate, where many of our teams went on to win the regional titles.
This year 2 rounds of the competition will be here again at Tahuna at the beginning of June 2021
Some comment from last years winners
The Epro8 is my favourite competition ever. It is really fun and involves a lot of different aspects including engineering, problem solving, innovation and most importantly teamwork.
Epro8 was very fun and it challenged my brain a lot and a big thanks to my teammates.
Sadly our team came second last but we all still had a blast.
Our team name was the Tahuna eagles. I found it a great way to enjoy yourself and to have fun. I recommend it to starting years 7s just like i did so if you liked it you can do it again in year 8.
