NZ Post Boys Cricket Victories

The Boys First XI started off it's campaign with two victories last week.

We had a tough first up game against John McGlashan and managed to score 112/5 off our 20 overs. Jacob Murray top scored with 42 not out. An impressive bowling performance meant that our opposition could only manage 84/8 in reply. Best bowling figures went to Gus Holt with 2 for 6 off his 4 overs.

Our second game was against Taieri College who we managed to beat fairly comfortably despite losing a few cheap wickets.

Taieri 65/9 off 20 overs( Joe Ingram 4 for 12, Josh Hart 2 for 4)

Tahuna 67/6 off 10 overs ( Alex Boomer 23, Jacob Murray 18)
