Tahuna Leaders Meet First Year Students

Tahuna house leaders visit the College of Education.

At Tahuna we have a lot of student teachers from the University of Otago training with our teachers. Last Monday a group of house leaders were invited to the College of Education, to give some advice from our perspective to the First Year student teachers. We got a variety of different questions around what makes a great teacher. Some of our answers were: we like teachers when they get to know us , take us out for PE and make our classroom a safe space.
