Brilliant start to Term 2

The term has started very positively with the beautiful autumn weather enabling students to enjoy the school grounds and playground facilities. All the school programmes are fully underway.

Electives programmes in Sports and Culture have started on Fridays and will also run in Term 3. Every year Tahuna students participate enthusiastically in these elective programmes and the outcomes are immense in terms of student engagement and the ability of children to select activities that suit their learning styles and interests. It is great that our teachers are able to offer such a wide range of activities including performing and creative arts, languages and computer activities in the culture electives. In the Sports electives arena students have had 17 different sporting activities to chose from  - a great opportunity to try something new.
