Tirohanga Day 3

Work. Fun. Work.

Today started with a 5am alarm courtesy of a tank issue on site that woke us all up and didn't stop until 7:30. But much to the credit of all the students we just got over it and fell back to sleep.

We hit the running track and some completed the full Tirohanga 10. We played some games and then got stuck into a beautiful cooked breakfast. From here it was all about the clean up and the students did not disappoint with their keenness to help, display responsibility and their work ethic.

After everything was packed up, vacuumed, swept, wiped, mopped and rinsed we had time to have another go on the confidence course before morning tea, dropping our tents and then lunch, loads of thank yous and loading the bus for the trip back to school.

What a fantastic camp! So proud of our tamariki and a massive thank you to all the parents who helped: Dan Grubb, Mel King, Nigel Covey, Esther Sibbald and Antoinette McLean, we couldn't have done it without you!
