Third at the South Island Underwater Hockey Champs!

Parakiore, Christchurch, hosted the South Island Underwater Hockey Championships on Saturday, 9th of May.

On the 9th of May, Peyton, James, Toby, Petra, and Arlo from Tahuna represented Dunedin Underwater Hockey at the South Island Championships.

There were four teams in our grade from all over the South Island, as far north as Nelson. We won our first game 5-0 and then lost the next two games before winning the last game. This placed us 3rd in our grade.

A highlight for the team was the pool, which was 2.2metres deep and was the deepest they had ever played in. Another highlight was winning the last game, as it was very close. A final highlight was for Toby, who got the first goal in the tournament.
