Tahuna v Taieri College
The first of our home and away tie against Taieri was a great occasion where team spirit and fair play was evident from both teams.
Our first trip to Taieri College in a few years has yielded a strong performance from the Tahuna First XI, with a 6-0 win.
The entire team played with pride as they worked hard to convert possession and territory into goals.
Goals were shared between 4 players, but a special mention to Sam Drake who scored a hat-trick.
We know Taieri will come back strong for our return leg. We will need to bring our 'A' game to ensure we close out this tie.
A big thanks to all the parents who transported our team to the game.
We can't wait for the return leg.
