Rugby League Magic

Warriors and Bulldogs are obvious names which a synonymous with amazing NRL sides and this week we get to experience first hand what they are like.

As part of the Southern Zone rugby league carnival we are having the Warriors come and visit the school to present their community programme. 

On Friday 17th, two Tahuna teams took on the challenge of facing off with other Dunedin schools for the inaugural 9's competition at Logan Park. The boys played really well and ended the day winning both pools. The year 7 had to face a touch year 8 team for the overall top spot, and unfortunately came up short. Tapuvae's bustling runs and Ale's stepping put an end to their great efforts throughout the day. Tahuna gold went on to play at half time at the Warriors game against DNI and performed really well. Well done to all the lads who took part.
