Building, constructing and manipulating....... Bringing Angry Birds To Life!

The last week or so we have been learning about Geometry - 3 D shapes. First we had to choose our favourite Angry Bird character and learn the attributes of our specific shape. Next we had to create a net on squared paper using a ruler with accurate measurements and angles. We had to problem solve  and measure carefully to make a solid shape that would form the body of our bird. Then we put all these skills to practice on coloured paper to create our angry bird characters by adding features to bring it to life. Finally we added special features sheet identifying the Faces, Edges & Vertices.
