Tahuna Specialist Redevelopment

There was great excitement last week as the Tahuna Specialist teaching block was re-opened. All students got a quick tour around the 4 classes before beginning their new tech rotation for Term 2.

We now have a spacious, vibrant and light visual art room. The E-Tech room has a state of the art laser cutter, 3D printers, 3D goggles and 27 new devices.

The Food Tech room is modern and designed to a professional standard.

The Hard Materials room has a new machine bay, with a focus on health and safety to reduce noise and dust within the classroom.

These redeveloped rooms represent far more than just a 'building'. It is a place where creativity will be sparked, skills will be developed, and confidence will grow. It will give our students the opportunity to explore, design, problem-solve, and prepare for a rapidly changing world.
