The Final Wave
“CRASH” another good wave gone by.
I can't seem to find the right one, that was until I heard a sound behind me, the scream of a fellow mate fills my ears.
I turn around and see a fin swimming towards me at rapid speed.
Just like that without realising my arms start to paddle, I feel like I'm skipping across the water.
“SNAP” I could feel the sharks breath against my ankle.
Suddenly all I can feel is pain, I can feel my leg bleeding, at least that’s what I thought was bleeding.
I was too scared to look back.
Even though I lost my foot that day I still learned a lesson, to always be grateful with what you've got.

Shark Attack!!!
I was so excited! We were finally doing it! Deep sea diving with tiger sharks! Harold and I had dreamed of this day for years. “We are almost there!” shouted the driver of the small boat we were on. THUD! The boat shook. “What was that?” I asked. “I don’t know” said Harold. THUD! THUD! it went again. THUD! THUD! THUD! it went again. Then it stopped.
Suddenly a huge shark jumped out of the water! It must of been at least 20 or 30 feet long! It came crashing down on the boat with such force that everyone was flung off. Harold and I were the only people who managed to swim to shore without either drowning or being eaten by the immense shark.
We were stranded on a remote island about 40 Km from the Australian mainland. “We are going to have to get back to Brisbane.” “But how?” said Harold. “I don't know” I replied. “Should we try and make a hut to sleep in?” “I think that would be a good idea” I said. And so, we gathered sticks and palm fronds. After about 5 or 6 hours later we had made a hut. It wasn’t big but it was enough...
