Picture Books

Year 7 students have all been working hard to produce their very own picture books!

All of Year 7 have been working hard to write, illustrate and publish their own picture book.

Some classes are doing this in an electronic form and others are handcrafting their own illustrations using a range of art materials.

Room 6 and Room 14 are also visiting St Kilda Kindergarten this week to share their finished picture books with the preschool children. This is a highlight for both the kindy and the Tahuna classes.

There will be a Tahuna Year 7 Creative Writing Competition next week where all classes will nominate two outstanding picture books to be in to win. Shannon, Pip, Karen and Jacqui will liaise and select 5 Prize winners.
