ROCK CLIMBING AT LONG BEACH

Following on from an introduction to the basics of belaying, Y8 students have been going to Long Beach to put this learning into practice.

Seen here are some students from Room 4 who took up the challenge of seeing if they could scale various routes up the rock face. This was based on their skill, knowledge and support of teammates.  Many expressed a real sense of achievement and exhilaration after a wonderful day at the beach.
