Year 7's

A lot has been going on over the past few weeks.

The Year 7's are well settled into school life and have been very active over the past few weeks, getting involved and representing the Tahuna in the wider community.

Our Year 7's have been out and about at "Have a Go Days' with Sport Otago, undertaking citizen science projects at the Tomahawk Lagoon with ECCOATGO, performing at the South Dunedin Street festival on the marimbas, bucket drums and the hip-hop stage. They have also had Netball Otago come in and do some coaching with them.

Over the next few days, the students will present their escape rooms to other classes as the conclusion to the unit. There have been some very creative puzzles, ciphers and codes made throughout this unit.

Prior to Rob Cop on Tuesday, the 17th of March, there will be an opportunity for parents and caregivers to pop into Room 20, 6:00-6:20 pm, if they have any questions about our upcoming puberty unit.

Once again, please let your child's classroom teacher know if you are able to come to the school camp. Each class will require 5 parents.
