Girls Cricket

There was a lot of interest in the girls cricket this term, resulting in Tahuna having two teams!

On Wednesday's the two Tahuna cricket teams went down to the Kensington Oval for their games. It was very well run by Tama and Jess, from Otago Cricket, who provided us with all of the equipment and support that we needed. We played dual pitch cricket (where three teams play at once) as Tahuna and St Hilda's were the schools entered in the competition. Everyone participated well, improved their skills and learnt a lot about the game of cricket. For our last game we even played hardball and that was an 'interesting' experience for the girls. It was a lot of fun!
