Tahuna Represents at the Otago Regional Aerobics Championship

Last weekend I competed as a duo in the Otago Regional Aerobics championship with my Tahuna team mate Lucy Loo. The heats were on the Saturday morning, and finalists performed again on the Sunday morning.

It was a really early start on both days waking at 6am to get my hair and make up done and start warming up.

This was my first year performing in aerobics so I was nervous to compete, but it was really great fun and we ended up with a silver medal. Coming second place has really boosted my confidence and I now cannot wait to compete again.

There were a number of other students from Tahuna who also competed and won medals in this competition so we were very excited when we heard the results.

We are all now off to Nationals in Wellington in September!
