Drama Stars in the Making ⭐️

Room 17 were lucky enough to have Jo, a talented drama expert, visit our class for a special workshop to help us with our upcoming Pantomime.

Jo introduced us to the concept of using levels on stage—foreground, middle ground, and background—and explained how these can be used to create more dynamic and engaging scenes. We explored how actors can move with purpose, use body language effectively, and interact meaningfully with others on stage to tell a story without words.

We took part in a range of fun and challenging drama activities that encouraged them to think critically about space, movement, and expression.

It was fantastic to see so many students confidently stepping out of their comfort zones, taking creative risks, and supporting one another.
