Otago Champs Swimming

A successful haul for Tahuna at the pool!

On Saturday April 6th Tahuna had 6 represenatives, Ella Wills, Sophie Sam, Noah Brummit-Rodriguez, Alfie Weatherston-Harvey and Macy Woodason, compete in the annual Otago Primary School Swimming Championships. All students participated in both individual events and relays with some exceptional results.

RELAY RESULTS:

1st: 200m Medley. (Alfie, Ella, Macy, Sophie). 

2nd: 200m 12 & over freestyle. (Alfie, Ella, Macy, Sophie).

2nd 200m Primary freestyle relay. (Sophie, Ella, Noah, Alfie).

A special mention to Alfie Weatherston-Harvey who also came 1st in both his u11 backstroke AND freestyle individual races.

A fantastic effort all round and a huge thank you to the parents that supported our crew. Looking forward to celebrating your success at assembly in the near future.
