Nau mai, Haere mai Year 8's
The final year at Intermediate is upon us!
Tēnā koutou, katoa,
Welcome back!
The hustle and bustle of the new year has started and the Year 8 Students have made a wonderful start.
We have 10 classes in 2019 and are looking forward to a great year together.
The Year 8 students are viewed upon as the Tuakana of the school and every year do a great job ensuring that the Tahuna school values of Respect, Responsibility, Creativity and Success are upheld.
As teachers we appreciate our Year 8's as they welcome the Year 7's students, and support them to make the transition into their new school.
Year 8 students are also viewed upon for Leadership as they are familiar with the surroundings and have a clear understanding of the expectations of Tahuna.
The main message to all of the Year 8 students is to make sure that they do not leave Tahuna with regrets. We encourage you to get involved with as many sporting, cultural and academic activities as you can. Make the most of your time, work hard, and enjoy your last year at Intermediate.
If you have any questions regarding the Year 8 programme at Tahuna, please feel free to contact me at any time.
