2026 Marimba Festival at Tahuna Intermediate School

200 students from 10 Dunedin schools got their barred instruments together on Wednesday morning for a jam.

Mainly marimbas, but glockenspiels, xylophones and chime bars too, it was a magic morning of music lead by Alison Caldwell from St. Clair School and the Kings' Jesters Jazz Band from King's High School..

Schools participating were: Tahuna Intermediate, St Clair School, Macandrew Bay School, Musselburgh School, Kaikorai Primary, Port Chalmers School, East Taieri School, Andersons Bay School, Abbotsford School and Tainui School.
