German Feast - lecker!

As always, we finished off our Term 3 German Elective with our famous German Feast.

To finish off our German Elective, everyone brought in $5 each to help cover the costs of a delicious German Feast.

We started with a few savoury items before finishing off with some delicious sweet treats.

Amongst the highlights were the fantastic pumpernickel bagels from Beam Me Up Bagels.

Another hit was the Black Forest Cherry Cake made for us by the amazing Mrs. T-K.

We also had some Haribo Gummy Bears, Sauerkraut (some loved it, some didn't!), rye bread and more.

This was all washed down with a glass of Spezi (a mix of Cola and Fanta).

All in all, it was a busy hour of eating - some of the tasting notes written by the students are below:

Jonas (about the bagels): it's magnificent and it's like bread but it's dessert at the same time. 10 out of 10.

Declan (about the rye bread): amazing soft bread with lovely taste

Fiona (about the Sauerkraut): very sour and very good, would defintely eat again

Hadlee (about the bagels) delicious with cream cheese 10/10!

Noah (about the Black Forest Cherry Cake): yummy, squishy, creamy, strong cherry taste
