Science Fair

Room 6 have been busy deciding what they are going to do their science fair on this term.

We have been busy exploring lots of resources, online and from the national library to help us decide what we are going to choose to do our science investigations on.

We have had to focus on the AIM of our investigation and our HYPOTHESIS which is our guess about what we think will happen. Next will come the procedure of our science experiment and we have been leaning to write these with Miss Murphy our student teacher in class. Then the fun begins and we can actually run our experiments.

There are lots of different topics students have chosen from trialling and testing basketball shooting skills, distances and styles to inform students on how to get the most baskets in a miniball / basket ball game to students testing concepts of branding and the affect on our taste and choices.

Tai and Willy knew they were interested in their environment but weren't sure where to start. They had lots of discussion around recycling and have decided to look into biodegradable products. 

We are all looking forward to getting to the experimental testing stage.
