Maths with Shapes

The past two weeks the class has been learning about shapes and how many faces, vertices or edges each shape has. We have been using KLIKKO to make 3-D shapes. We have been drawing and making nets in our math books. We have started thinking about doing angry birds 3-D shapes, we pick a bird, a shape and make the shape look like the angry bird. There would be a display of them in our classroom.

We have made a collection of 3-D shapes that are currently on the jellybean table. We were given nets and had to label them, colour them in, cut them out and glued them together.
