Taieri Sevens Winners G.I Gold 2022

Well done to Eli and his team who won the Taieri sevens competition. Eli also won the best sportsmanship trophy across all teams. An excellent effort!

On Sunday morning when the sun was rising up, a kid called Eli wakes up. He knows what day It is! He shouts out “It’s rugby time baby”. Let’s have some fun. He gets his G.I clothes on ready to battle. His Mum shouts out " It’s time to go to battle" so he grabs his gear to have some fun. 

When he gets out of the car his Mum pulls him into her arms saying " I love you , now go and have some fun, play hard". Next thing you know, his team has won the whole tournament!
