Year 7

It's hard to believe the Year 7's have completed their first term.

How fantastic are the Year 7 students? Congratulations to all the Year 7 students who have settled into Tahuna this term and are taking on all the new learning, opportunities, and experiences with increasing confidence. Check out the photos of some Year 7's sharing their sporting skills and coaching others in football and netball.

As summer sports start to wrap up, it has been good to see so many students signing up for winter sports. Trials for these sports have started and I am sure they will eagerly await the outcome.

We completed the term with Project Based Learning (PBL) presentations, biography writing, and, puberty. The students are developing a wide range of skills that they will be able to transfer into our PBL next term.

Looking ahead to term two we will be having a chemistry focus for our PBL unit, extension electives, and prime maths.
