Angry! They don't look angry! (copy)
Making 3d shapes based on Angry Bird characters.
For Maths over the last fortnight, we have been learning about geometry! In particular we have been making and learning about 3D shapes. In year 6 we were given Nets and had to create shapes from them. But in Year 7 we have to A) Create and make nets using paper, protractors and rulers and B) indicate how many faces, edges and vertices each polyhedra has.
In the photo above there are three shapes. On the right is the classic cube with Harry, in the middle you can see a triangular prism with Zeyu and on the right is the unusual soccer ball shape… Dodecahedron, with Tessa. Mr. J. decided to make this project a little more fun though making ANGRY BIRD shapes instead of basic Polyhedra.
