Tahuna students show plenty of Mana and Passion
On Monday the 28th of March a group of over 40 students from Tahuna marched into Forsyth Barr Stadium full of confidence and with the heads held high. They were set to compete in the first ever Virtual Triathlon organized by Sport Otago. I will quickly mention what a great job they done in setting everything up.
In true Tahuna fashion all students showed that they have a massive heart and can perform when needed. The Comradery on display was world class. I have never seen a group of young athletes truly believe in one and other.
We had multiple teams finish in the top 5 in the year 7 team category. Congratulations to Dominic who came second in the individual boys and Lukus Braun who won his category. Aria Brown and Ruby Martin who won the individual girls. Tahuna also won the year 8 competition with Tahuna coming first, second and another 4 teams making the top 10.
Well done to all students who were involved. You made the school proud.
